Malorie Harris had a very successful day scoring two goals in championship game including the winner, being named a Breen’s Jubilee Trophy All Star, and won the Top Goal Scorer Award as top goal scorer in the league with twenty nine goals in a twenty game schedule. Malorie was also MVP Regular season and MVP Playoffs
Holy Cross Kirby will now represent the province at the womens nationals October 6-11 in Prince Edward Island.

All three Burin Peninsula Teams have advanced to the 2010 Molson Provincial Intermediate Championships.
St.Lawrence and Grand Bank will playing for the “B” Championship at 10:00 PM
CBS and the Burin Eagles will be vying for the “A” Championship at 1:00 pm.
Both Championship Games will be played at Centennial Field in St.Lawrence

In Saturday’s Breens Jubilee trophy semi-final Feildians Facey Financial Planning beat Molsons 1-0 thanks to a 78th minute penalty put away by Jess Wade. Amanda Roche posted the shot out. They will play Holy Cross Kirby at 3 pm tomorrow in Mount Pearl, with awards presentations at 2:45 pm.
Thursday saw Feildians Facey Financial Planning beat Mt. Pearl/Electronic Centre/Paradise Physio 3-1 in the Jubilee 3 vs 4 match and advanced to the semi final against Molsons FC, loser of the 1 vs 2 match. Holy Cross beat Molsons 2-0 thanks to goals from Sam Hansford after 10 minutes and Maria Oliver in the 36th minute. Janine Bursey shut out the Molsons attack.
Feildians Facey Financial Planning had goals from Amanda Roche (30 min), Jess Wade (57 min) and Meghan Felt (90 minutes). Aofie Bodman had the Mount Pearl goal on a first-half penalty.
St. John’s earned the championship of the Pepsi Cola provincial Under-16 girls “A” soccer tournament Sunday in Mount Pearl with a close 1-0 verdict over the host club. The win gives St. John’s the right to represent the province at the 2010 Canadian championships in Vaughan, Ontario October 6 to 11.
Alyssa Armstrong scored the game’s lone goal and keeper Laura Whelan posted the St. John’s shutout to claim the honors.
