Sport Newfoundland and Labrador announced today that they are accepting applications for their annual scholarship/bursary program. The purpose of the Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to qualifying amateur athletes, coaches and officials to help offset the costs of training and competition. Students currently enrolled in a recognized post secondary institution and participating in athletic, coaching, or officiating endeavors are eligible to apply for a scholarship/bursary. Completed forms, together with all supporting documentation, must be received on or before March 5, 2010.
