The NLSA is pleased to announce the players who have been invited to tryout for the 2010 U-12 provincial teams. These invitations are based on scouting of various provincial tournaments, recognition through NLSA technical programs, and consultation with club & regional coaches.

The U-12 tryouts are open to players born in 1998 and will take place during the weekend of April 16-18th at the New Artificial Feild Turf Facility at the Team Gushue Sports Complex in Mount Pearl (formerly known as the Smallwood complex). A detailed schedule will be released on the NLSA website during the 2nd week of April.

NLSA U-12 Provincial Teams will compete in an invitational tournament in Quebec in July.

Training will be in camp format, meaning the team will gather in St. John’s for 4-5 training weekends between May-July to prepare for the Atlantics. The training commitment required is 100%.

NLSA registration form and player contract, as well as the $35 tryout fee can be dropped off to the NLSA office, located at 31 peet Street in St. John’s  OR Mailed to P. O. Box 21029, St. John’s, NL, A1A 5B2. Exact change cash or cheque only please.  All tryout registration forms and fees MUST be recieved prior to 4:00pm on Wednesday, April 7th.
