The Breen’s Jubilee Trophy is the highest level of women’s soccer in the Province with the Provincial Champion qualifying to represent the province at the National Senior Championships.

This year’s Breen’s Jubilee Trophy Season should be another exciting summer of soccer. There are 4 senior teams competing for the provincial title. Defending champions from last year have a new name, Holy Cross/Kirby Group. Also returning are last year finalists Feildians/Facey Financial Planning, and Mount Pearl-Electronic Centre-Paradise Physio. The new addition to the league this year is Molsons FC-St.John’s. There will be 4 minor teams participating in the league on an exhibition basis, the St. John’s Under 16 and 18 all-star teams and the Mount Pearl Under 16 and 18 all-star teams, bringing the total to 8 teams. There are 74 regular season games scheduled. The playoffs will be played August 26-29 in Mount Pearl. The season kicks off on Monday, June 7^th, with all 8 teams in action. The schedule is now posted.

The gate charges for the Breen’s Jubilee regular season will remain the same at $3 with children under 10 free. For the final weekend, the games will be $5 a game, and the $5 will cover the doulbleheader played on August 26.

With KGV being available this summer, the majority of games will be played there. The Mount Pearl home games will be played in Mount Pearl at the Gushue Recreation Complex on their new turf field and Feildians/Facey Financial Planning will be playing their home games at Feildian Grounds.
