Welcome to the Newfoundland & Labrador Soccer Association web site!. The Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association administers soccer in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is dedicated to promoting the growth and development of soccer at all levels. In partnership with its members, the Association is committed to providing leadership and good governance for our sport.

The NLSA is governed by a volunteer board, consisting of an executive of seven, supported by ten directors, representing all the regions of the Province.

Player Development

Player identifications begins at the Regional level for both boys and girls leading into Provincial Team opportunities, and potential Regional and National Squads selection.

Regional Competition, National Championships and International travel all provide the necessary training ground to assist NLSA players with selection to Regional and National Teams.

The Challenge Cup and Jubilee Trophy

The Challenge Cup (Mens Senior Championship) and the Jubilee Trophy (Ladies Senior Championship) is the premier league in the province and leads to a National Championship .

National Championships take place in three age levels as well.

Communication

The NLSA, in addition to its Website service, publishes a regular newsletter.

Insurance

The full range in accident and liability coverage is provided.

Registration

The NLSA offers a tiered fee for player registration starting at the minor soccer players up to masters players. Registration is also offered for coaches and referees.

Training Centre

The New Sport Training Centre is currently in the planning stage. This new centre will afford us a leading competition, and training facility. This coupled with the new King George V Soccer facility will give Soccer state of the art facilities.

Discipline and Appeals

Laws of The Game, high standards of conduct and rights and responsibilities are services provided to the Members.

General Member Services

Operational guidelines, model constitutions, tournament promotion, travel and complaints support are but a few of the ongoing services Clubs request.

Soccer Hall of Fame

The Soccer Hall of Fame recognizes the excellence of players, coaches, teams, officials and builders of the game.
